Rusk Rehabilitation Center is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.

Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality of care. Designed with our patient’s care in mind, Rusk Rehabilitation Center offers eight private rooms with televisions, DVD players, telephones and wireless internet capabilities. 

In addition for caring  for general rehabilitation diagnosis such as pulmonary, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, brain injury and cardiac, Rusk Rehabilitation Center has specialized inpatient programs for stroke and amputation. Outpatient services at Rusk are now operated by University of Missouri Therapy Services.

Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.
